Columbus Pacers

The Cbus Pacers is a central Ohio running club and training group, offering training programs and group runs around the Columbus area. They are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and having some fun along the way, whether you're just beginning or you've been running all your life. You'll be a part of a community of running friends, a group that includes coaches, pace group leaders, and of course runners of all levels. The club has hundreds of people in different pace groups to help you on your quest. With multiple runs during the week, training and being social has never been better.

 

Columbus East Side Running Club

The Columbus Eastside Running Club (CERC) is a RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) running club and is facilitated by an RRCA certified running coach. This non profit group has been created to coach runners to compete in quarter, half and full marathons. In their 6th training season runs are held on Saturday mornings at 8:00 am and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Check them out at ColumbusEastSideRunningClub.com.

 

DCS Endurance Coaching

DCS Endurance Coaching is a new athletic training company with an experienced coach. Coach Don, while a bit new to coaching, is certainly not new to the triathlon and duathlon community. He is now preparing for his 22nd year of racing. He has raced six national championships sponsored by USA Triathlon and has finished as high as third in his age group in them. In the process, he has qualified for the U.S. team going to a world championship five times and went to Australia in 2005 as a team member. As a certified Triathlon coach Don will pass on his expertise and experience for athletes of all levels.

 

Columbus East Side Running Club

FrontRunner Training Group welcomes runners/walkers of all abilities. Whether you are new to running/walking, or an experienced competitor, we have a group for you. Our mentors are experienced athletes who collectively have completed hundreds of marathons. We strive to make training a fun and exciting experience in a non-intimidating, family-friendly environment.

 

Inspiring Soles to Run

Inspiring Soles to Run is a faith-based running group that welcomes the non-runner to the experienced runner.  The group started off as a relay team doing the Kentucky Bourbon Chase in 2010 and there they have grown into doing individual running and walking events, as well as duathlons and triathlons. They encourage each other to "run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us" (Hebrews 12:1). They offer a free Couch to the 5K support team, to help get people off the couch of a sedentary lifestyle, and onto a journey to a destination 3.1 miles down the road toward better health.  They encourage everyone to pass this gift on to someone else. www.mmwellnesscoaching.com/

 

Just Tri

JustTri's program caters to guiding adults to reach their athletic goals with a focus on multi-sport training. Just a runner you say? Well take note that adding biking and/or swimming to your weekly regiment will make you a healthier, faster and more balanced athlete, which in the long run prolongs your athletic career. Metamorphosis Wellness Coaching

Metamorphosis Wellness Coaching was launched on February 25, 2012.  This is ministry was started out of a personal passion to reach out to women with food addiction.  Michelle Edwards, who founded MWC began as a nearly 20-year recovered binge-eater, who has a heart for women who rely on food each day for emotional support while wrecking their health.  This site combines faith, food and fitness and encourages women through support and helpful web sites, phone apps, and music / book recommendations, to transform their lives from the inside out... a complete metamorphosis.


New Albany Walking Club

The New Albany Walking Club was founded on the idea that health and wellness can be achieved through a planned walking program. Through the activities of the New Albany Walking Club, the many aspects of walking-related issues can be addressed in a cohesive, organized fashion resulting in a supporting and nurturing environment for the Central Ohio walking community. Membership in the New Albany Walking Club is open to women and men of all ages. They meet every Sunday morning at 7:30 in the Fitness Center parking lot of the New Albany Country Club. Their walks will go through the scenic paths of the New Albany communities.

 

Ohio State Triathlon Club

The Triathlon Club at The Ohio State University will be supporting Relay Around Columbus throughout the event and on the course. The Triathlon Club serves multi-sport athletes of all abilities affiliated with The Ohio State University, enabling them to achieve their athletic goals in a stimulating, supportive and sociable environment. They educate and inform their members and have fun while participating in competitive and recreational training and racing events in Ohio and across the country, to improve the sport for all. The Relay Around Columbus is thankful for the assistance of this great group of dedicated athletes and is very happy to support them with a contribution to enable these athletes to compete in their triathlon national championship.

 

Walk With A Doc

Are you familiar with Walk with a Doc? Worthington, Ohio native Dr. David Sabgir started this program in 2005 here in Columbus, OH. The program has spread out nationally and is very successful at highlighting the health benefits associated with walking. Walkers are a very important part of Relay Around Columbus and we are very fortunate to have an event that is connected with this health conscious partner. Visit their website at WalkWithaDoc.org.
