Relay Around Columbus is a six (6) person, team running, or walking, relay event covering up to 105 miles (running, ultra running) and 70 miles (walking, high school running) around Columbus and Central Ohio utilizing the public trails, adjoining city parks, Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, and only as needed, city streets in various area municipalities. Relay Around Columbus, which promotes fitness, wellness and camaraderie, is a challenging 13-21 hour physical endurance event for athletes of all abilities, where the team goal is simply to finish the event. There will be slots for a grand total of 200 teams (Run, Walk, Ultra Run & High School Run Teams) for RAC in 2013.
